Ingenio

In the north, 10 minutes by car from San Agustin, it is located "Ingenio", a village of tradition and handicraft.

Many years ago, there were lots of sugar factories here. Nowadays, the old buildings stay as memories of a past time .

Needleswork in the technical school

The village is famous by its needleswork which are teached in the technical craftschools . Here, table linen, table runners, needlesworks and typical canary dresses are made and sold .

The quality of their products is well known internationally  and also very appreciated  !
