SERVICE

The bus-depot is situated in Parque de San Telmo.
SALCAI and UTINSA are the main companies which take charge of the public transport along the island.

SALCAI, with its green buses, connects the south of the island, and UTINSA, with its blue buses, the north and the center of the island.

To improve the public transport in the touristic areas, SALCAI has non-stop buses to Playa del Inglés, Puerto Rico and Mogán, toguether with other lines which make several stops.
The departures from Las Palmas to Mogan are at 5.00 -  9.00 - 14.00  and 18.00 pm

Puerto Rico and Playa del Cura have a bus service which departure every hour. Playa del Inglés, San Agustín and Maspalomas have also buses which departure every quarter hour.

Besides, SALCAI offers a bus service to Palmitos Park. The bus departures from the hotel Parque Tropical in Playa del Inglés or from Interclub Atlantic in San Agustín and it makes stops in Templo Ecumenico and in Plaza de la Viuda de Franco in Playa del Inglés.
Telde, Vecindario and Maspalomas have own bus services which are connected with other towns.
Playa del Ingles has also a local bus service.

SALCAI's telephone numbers in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria are 928-36 86 31 and 928-37 36 25, and in Playa del Inglés, 928-76 53 32 and 938-76 53 59.

The bus company UTINSA has bus lines which connect the center with the north of the island.
The bus lines are: from Las Palmas to Tejeda over the center of the island,and from Las Palmas to Agaete and Nicolás de Tolentino over Arucas, Santa María de Guía and Galdar.
The towns have also local bus services.
